Google, KDDI to Cooperate on Internet Search Service for Handsets

Google and Japanese KDDI recently announced that they will cooperate to offer KDDI's mobile phone subscribers an Internet search engine service based on Google's technologies. KDDI will adopt this Google-based search service starting in July 2006. This marks the first time that Google has teamed up with a Japanese telecom.
